Feeling helpless to help oneself often brings people into psychotherapy.
I have advanced training in psychoanalysis and psychoanalytic psychotherapy. Psychoanalysis, an insight-oriented approach, facilitates the development of a deeper therapeutic experience with sustainable benefits after treatment has ended. I have extensive knowledge of human development and experience assessing children and adolescents with emotional, developmental and learning problems. This background provides me with a unique perspective when working with adults and deepens my capacity to understand my patients.
