About Psychotherapy
WHAT TO EXPECT
I see individual patients from one to five times weekly in a quiet, private space where confidentiality is preserved. I offer a safe, non-judgmental setting to talk about emotional difficulties. I see patients in person as well as over a secure virtual platform.
The first meeting is an opportunity to explore what brings you to therapy and to talk about how we'll be working together.
The psychotherapeutic treatment I offer is talk therapy which allows me to hear what you are saying directly and indirectly. That is, I use all of your communications to understand more about what you may not be entirely aware of and how it is connected to your emotional discomfort and pain. Although I may be quiet at times, I will share my observations, thoughts and questions with you in the service of expanding your awareness and ultimately allowing you to live more fully.

FEES & INSURANCE
I charge $250 per 45-minute session.
I am a private pay provider. This means that after paying me, receiving a "paid in full" receipt, and filing a claim, you may receive reimbursement from your insurance company for your treatment. Check to see if your insurance covers out-of-network mental health care. I include all information on the monthly statement that you'll need for reimbursement.
Reduced fees are available on a limited basis, depending on my open reduced-fee appointments and your financial circumstances.
I accept personal checks, bank checks, and credit cards.
